You\u2019re not alone.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/santanderconsumerusa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/SC-577287-CUST-Is-this-the-year-to-buy-an-electric-vehicle_-MKTG-SC-Blog-Post_Chevy-Bolt.jpg?w=320\" alt=\"White 2023 Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicle\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The interest in electric vehicles seems to be growing every year and the makes and models for EVs being released is answering the demand in popularity.<\/p>\n<p>At the <a data-external=true href=\"https:\/\/santanderconsumerusa.com\/exit?external_link=de3c39b0ecd14bee9fcb2d72cd8d9d15&href=https:\/\/www.northtexasautoshow.com\/\">North Texas Auto Show<\/a> we attended in February, not only were multiple vehicles on display, they were also available for ride-alongs to those wanting to feel the power and luxurious interior<br \/>\nfor themselves.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the boost in all things EV, we recently conducted a survey to find out for ourselves how close those who responded are to getting into an EV in 2023. The below graphic shows the results in percentages we got back to the question, \u201cIs this the year to buy an electric vehicle?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/santanderconsumerusa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/SC-577287-CUST-Is-this-the-year-to-buy-an-electric-vehicle_-MKTG-SC-Blog-Post_Survey-Results-V2.jpg\" alt=\"Is this the year to buy an electric vehicle?\" width=\"1441\" height=\"231\" style=\"padding-bottom:18px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>W\u00ad\u00ade also asked the question, \u201cIf you could be a vehicle, which kind would you be?\u201d About 7% of respondents said \u201celectric vehicle\u201d and the largest percentage (40%) said SUV.<\/p>\n<p>Whether the majority of car shoppers are going to buy an EV this year or not, with most every major brand working on or having already released electric vehicles, the discussions around electric seem to only be increasing. So even if you aren\u2019t buying an EV in 2023, chances are there\u2019s one in your not-too-distant future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Have you been thinking about getting into an electric car?
