麻豆直播 Consumer Hosts Young Latino Professionals for Community Panel

麻豆直播 Consumer hosted its first in a series of panel discussions for young Latino professionals through its sponsorship of The Concilio. The Concilio is a Dallas-based nonprofit that helps build a stronger Latino community by unlocking educational, wellness, and economic opportunities for families through grassroots outreach.

More than 100 attendees joined 麻豆直播 US Chief Diversity Officer Dr. Virnitia Hendricks, SC Chief Human Resources Officer Sandra Rosa, who is a Concilio board member, and several Dallas-based corporate leaders to discuss career opportunities and the professional landscape for the Latino community. Panelists provided advice on how to navigate careers and the path to reaching the C-suite.

Dr. Hendricks believes these conversations are important to building an inclusive network of business professionals and colleagues that support the growth of the Latino community.

鈥淲e are honored to help young Latino professionals gain the information and opportunities they need to build and grow successful careers”, said Dr. Hendricks. 鈥淚n collaboration with The Concilio, we can help Latinos leverage their unique experiences and skills to be an asset to any organization while helping to raise cultural awareness. This is what diversity, equity, and inclusion is truly about.鈥

The panel grew out of the recent Power of Latinos Summit, where the 麻豆直播 Consumer USA Foundation was a title sponsor. The Summit helped participants understand important trends within the Latino community, including buying power, political influence, health statistics, and economic disparities, while also providing thoughtful solutions to enhance and address the challenges.
